# op\_man

Specify operand representation manually. (for the explanations of 'ea' and 'n' please see [op\_bin](/9.0/developer-guide/idc/idc-api-reference/alphabetical-list-of-idc-functions/696.md)()) str - a string representation of the operand IDA will not check the specified operand, it will simply display it instead of the original representation of the operand.
